I got the beautiful cyan version of these last year and so far... I would not install them on my bike again. Took them on a month long tour and literally spent the first week fixing flats 5 times a day in the rain because the canal paths I rode were made out of crushed slate. And that turned into tiny slivers that worked itself through anything resembling puncture resistance.
When I switched over to the slightly thicker Semi-knobby that I was also carrying as a spare the issues mostly went away.
Adding to that the moment where I wiped out on slightly wet tarmac in a corner and cracked a pedal... yeah no.
Interestingly, they had barely any issues the other 3 weeks of the tour when it was dry. But still another 5 flats or so.
Not recommended if you ride in the rain at all.
So far very good tyre. No punctures for few weeks. Compare slick tyres this is different level of protection. However feels bit slower than slick ones
Excellent tyres, good grip, low rolling resistance, comfortable, but puncture protection could be a bit better.
Great feel on the roads and copes well with farmers’ muddy slop from tractors, which does blight the backroads here when it’s wet. However, it did take all my tubeless tricks to seal when installing (unlike the 35s which just popped on instantly).
I found them very difficult to load onto my wheels until I used the soapy water trick.
I have changed my wheels along with the tyres and I am delighted with the results.
I am still searching for my ideal tyres pressures but I am very impressed.
Disappointing. Multiple punctures including some which were unpluggable in 3/4 tyres over an 18 month period. 2 orange at 700x35 and 2 black 700x28.
Tried multiple sealants including peatys hole shot which is good stuff.
Running with tubes now, and still got punctures through 2 more. Mostly cycle path and main road so not “rough” terrain.
Despite irreparable punctures within a week of purchase - panaracer only offered a 20% discount on a replacement. Dissapointing.
Unfortunately I have decided that I cannot risk buying gravel kings again.

Great tyres for the price. No issues putting them on the bike.
Tire is working great. I am using this with a tube even though the tire and the rim support tubeless. Because of this, getting the tire bead into the rim is very challenging. So far only about 200 miles on tires so the next year may be a possibly different story. But so far so good.
Never any issues with Panaracer. Great product and value. Feels great on the road and gives you a sense of confidence when you go one the loose stuff. Installation was easy, no problem mounting the tires. ( I still use tubes ) Tires run true, I have had problems with other brands not running straight.
All the Gravelking variants are excellent. Can’t go wrong.
Excellent and hard wearing tires. Amazing on fine pulverized limestone. Even smooth and quiet on pavement.
Bought this version to substitute a slicker tire. It holds the air very well and performs nicely. So far, I am very happy with it.
Great tyre at a good price just done weeks touron them
These replaced my Vittoria Terreno Dry's, and not a moment too soon. Just got back off my first ride with them on and my average speed for my 25mile training route has gone up just under 2mph at the same effort. I'm made up. Absolute piece of p**s to fit and look great. My only gripe is the black rubber came a bit discoloured, almost white in places. A quick tyre treatment had them looking 100% tho.
Fast on road but there seems to be this weird noticable transition when moving from upright onto the side when cornering. Not bad or unstable but noticable.

I had a total nightmare trying to fit them as tubeless, not even an air compressor would get them to seat. Had to install a tube, pump up, get them to seat, undo one side, inner tube out, them tubeless valve in, soapy water around edges then compressor made them fit. Now on, they are awesome, great rolling resistance and look amazing.

Brilliant Tyre…
I have just put them on. They were a bit harder to put on than GK tlc that I had previously but settled in the rim nicely. I'll try to update the review after some use.
So far so good. After ~70km mostly road, and farm tracks , fast rolling , confident grip on the road. Nice and supple, smooth ride. Easy to lock up especially rear wheel under heavy braking. 700x40 size
