Description

Built from a clean sheet rather than refined from what came before, AGXERO pairs the new ZSG Agile-X compound with AX-Alpha casing and an all new road tread. Exceptional tyres that seem to offer the best of both worlds.

Having previously used both Vittoria Corsa Pro and Blackbeard Race tyres, I’m very impressed with these Panaracers. The Vittorias rolled beautifully, but I found them too fragile and suffered frequent punctures. The Blackbeards, on the other hand, offered excellent puncture protection and absorbed bumps and road vibrations very well.

These tyres seem to combine those strengths: they feel just as smooth and fast as the Vittorias, while providing outstanding comfort on rough roads. Puncture resistance also seems very good so far, although it’s still early days.

For reference, I weigh 75 kg and currently run 6 bar at the rear and 5.6 bar at the front. Next, I’ll try 5.8 bar at the rear and 5.4 bar at the front to see whether that gives me the ideal balance of comfort and performance.

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with them and would highly recommend them.
